S12 Marine Biotechnology from the depth to the shallows

From sequencing and drug discovery to bioprocessing and bioremediation, the utilisation of marine organisms for human and environmental good has no depth restriction. This symposium will showcase research that sustainably utilises marine organisms to provide knowledge, products, tools and services. Subjects could include, but are not restricted to, environmental biotechnology, bioprocessing, microbial biotechnology, biodiscovery, microbiome, genomics, drug development, nutraceuticals, fish byproducts, functional foods, cosmeceuticals, biofuels, bioactives, aquaculture biotechnology and marine biotechnology for agriculture.
