
Nikki is a marine biologist and has a broad interest in the behavioural ecology and population ecology of cetaceans. In particular she has a strong conservation focus, as demonstrated through her research on the ecology and social behaviour of dolphins in South Australia. Completing her PhD at Flinders University in 2016, she now works as a marine parks officer for the Department of Environment Water and Natural Resources (South Australia). Nikki is a passionate advocate for marine science and conservation, with experience in delivering marine education to a range of audiences and ages, and is involved with numerous marine-based community groups.
