
Sarah-Lena Reinhold is a Research Officer at SARDI Aquatic Sciences and a PhD Candidate investigating the importance of little penguins in the diet of long-nosed fur seals at the University of Adelaide. Her research focusses on the foraging and population ecology of protected marine mammals and seabirds, with a particular focus on apex predator-prey interactions. Having lived and worked as a marine scientist on Kangaroo Island for three years, Sarah-Lena has undertaken research in a broad suite of fields including seagrass restoration, temperate reef surveys and marine pest surveillance. More recently, her role as Program Leader, Fisheries Enhancement (PIRSA) involved the management of Australia’s largest shellfish reef construction, Windara Reef.
